Google review replies

Direct answer

A Google review reply should be a short draft you post yourself in Google Business Profile. ChatGPT can shape the wording from the review the customer actually wrote. It must not invent a complaint, a discount, or a fact about the visit. Nobody has run this setup on a live profile yet.

For a salon, cafe, or shop that means to reply and then does not. The draft is a prompt. The post button stays with the owner.

A reply is public. It should sound like you, and it should not add a discount the review never asked for. The ChatGPT review draft is the setup. The FAQ replies are the sister habit for questions that arrive by email.

Google review replies drafted in ChatGPT

A reply to a Google review should use the customer's words and your own policy, then be posted by you. ChatGPT can shorten the tone. It must not invent a visit, a refund, or a discount. Google's help page is how replies are managed. Nothing here posts overnight. This guide has not been live-tested.

Questions

Should replies go out overnight?

No. A wrong reply sits on the public profile. The playbook is a draft you paste into Google Business Profile while you are looking at the review.

Can it offer a refund?

Only if your own written policy already says so, and you still decide. A model that invents a voucher is a promise you may have to keep.

What if the review is unfair?

You can say what happened in calm words, or you can say nothing. Do not invent a detail that was not in the visit. Google's own help page is the place for how replies are managed.
