Fathom
Direct answer
Fathom records a meeting and writes a summary. On 25 October 2026 the free plan listed unlimited recordings and instant summaries. AI action items sat on Premium, shown at $16 a user a month on the annual view or $20 monthly. Copy the summary into a sheet and write the tasks yourself unless you have checked Premium's list.
A consultant or coach who wants a summary of a call they were allowed to record, and will turn it into their own task list.
Watch out. Tell the other person a notetaker is present. Do not publish the transcript. Premium's action items are still a draft you check.
The meeting-notes playbook stays on the free plan: copy the summary, write the tasks, keep the sheet private. A booking link is a different tool. Do not add a second notetaker in the same week.

Meeting notes turned into tasks with Fathom
Turn meeting notes into tasks by recording only with consent, copying Fathom's free summary into a private sheet, and writing the actions yourself. On 25 October 2026, AI action items were a Premium feature, not part of Free. You still check any list a paid plan writes. This page has not been live-tested.
