Weekly admin digest

Direct answer

A weekly admin digest is one Monday email: mail that needs a reply, the week ahead, and invoices you have already marked overdue. n8n can assemble it from Gmail, Calendar, and a sheet. It reminds you. A report you send to a client is a different page, and it does not invent a number.

For consultants, accountants, and agency owners who lose Monday to remembering what is outstanding. Three lines, not a dashboard.

A digest works if you read it. The way to make one you will read is to limit it to three things that would change your morning. Unread customer mail, the calendar, and overdue invoices cover most sole traders.

Do not pipe bank balances or full client subject lines onto a lock screen other people can see.

A report that goes to the client is not this email. That draft is the weekly client report, and it uses only figures you already trust.

Questions

Why Monday?

Because that is when a one-person week usually starts. The day is a setting. The point is one sitting, not a stream of pings.

Can it include the bank balance?

No. These guides do not connect an agent to a bank. If a figure is not already in a sheet you maintain, it does not belong in the digest.

Make or n8n?

The digest comparison covers that. Make is the hosted free-leaning path. n8n is the one you can later run yourself.
