Lusha Review UK for Small Business: Free Credits, Pro in Pounds and Who It Isn't For

In short: Lusha's free plan gives you 40 credits a month: at its listed rates, 40 email reveals or 8 phone numbers. Pro is $69.90 a month, billed in US dollars, about £52 at the 2 November 2026 rate. It suits small teams selling to businesses, not consumers or phone-heavy outreach. We haven't tested it.

What is Lusha, and who is it for?

Lusha is a B2B contact data tool. You search for a person at a company, then spend credits to reveal their work email or phone number. It has a web workspace, a Chrome extension and an API, and it connects to CRMs such as HubSpot and Salesforce.

It is aimed at people who sell to other businesses and want a named contact rather than a general info@ address. We haven't tested it. This review is a read of Lusha's own pricing and help pages on 2 November 2026, and the Lusha tool page keeps the same facts in a short form.

What do the 40 free credits get you?

Lusha's pricing page says the free plan gives you up to 40 credits a month, plus basic prospecting features, the browser extension and CRM integrations. It says no credit card is needed. A reveal costs 1 credit for an email and 5 credits for a phone number, so here is what 40 credits buys at those rates:

What you revealCredits eachWhat 40 credits covers
Emails only140 emails
Phone numbers only58 phone numbers
Email and phone for the same personup to 66 people (36 credits), with 4 left over
A mix1 and 5for example 20 emails and 4 phone numbers

A few details from Lusha's help pages. Searching and filtering cost nothing. Looking again at a contact you have already revealed is free. Lusha's credits explainer also says a lookup that finds nothing costs nothing. Free-plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over, so unused ones are lost.

Lusha's credits explainer lists a Waterfall option on Pro and above, once an admin turns it on. It checks extra sources when the main database has nothing, and charges 2 credits for an email or 8 for a phone number, only when it finds a match. Those are separate from the standard rates, so read your own plan page for the rate that applies to you.

For a small business, 40 credits a month is enough to test it and to reach a few dozen people. It is not enough to build a long list.

How much does Lusha Pro cost in pounds?

Lusha bills in US dollars. Pro is $69.90 a month, or $52.45 a month if you pay annually, which is $629.10 up front. Lusha lists about 600 credits a month on Pro.

At the 2 November 2026 reference rate of 1 US dollar to 0.74519 pounds (Frankfurter), that is roughly:

PlanMonthly priceBilled annually, per monthCredits a month
Free$0 (£0)not applicable40
Starter$49.90, about £37$37.45, about £28about 400
Pro$69.90, about £52$52.45, about £39 (about £469 for the year)about 600
Premium$399.90, about £298$299.95, about £224about 3,400

Those pound figures are our arithmetic from the dollar list prices and one day's rate. Your card issuer's rate and any foreign-transaction fee will change what you actually pay. Lusha's pricing data marks the annual prices as excluding VAT, so check what appears at checkout before you commit.

If you used every credit on Pro monthly, the list price works out at about 12 US cents a credit, roughly 9p. That makes an email about 9p and a phone number about 43p. It is arithmetic, not a measured result, and most people won't use every credit.

Lusha says your plan renews automatically, and that you can cancel in your account settings, with credits staying available until the end of the billing period.

Is Lusha good for UK contacts?

We don't know, because we haven't tested it. Lusha says it holds more than 515 million contacts, and that about 132 million of them are in the United States. It doesn't give a UK figure on the pages we read. Lusha also says it publishes its accuracy figures at lusha.com/data. We haven't checked them, so we repeat none of them here.

The practical test is cheap. Use the free plan on a short list of UK businesses you actually want to reach, and compare each result against the company's own website. If few of them come back, a paid plan won't fix that.

Who isn't Lusha for?

Lusha probably isn't the right tool if:

  • You sell to consumers. It is built around business contacts.
  • You mainly need phone numbers. At 5 credits each, a free plan covers 8 of them a month, and Pro covers about 120 if you reveal nothing else.
  • You want to pay in pounds. Every price is in US dollars.
  • You only need a handful of contacts. The free plan may already cover you, and a paid plan would be wasted.
  • You need proof of UK coverage. Lusha doesn't state a UK figure on the pages we read.
  • You want a tool that makes emailing lawful. No data tool does that. See the next section.

Do UK GDPR and PECR apply when you email the contacts?

They can. UK GDPR covers how you handle personal data, which can include a named person's work email address. The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) set rules for marketing emails and calls, and the ICO says the rules differ between company subscribers and individual subscribers such as sole traders. Lusha says it is GDPR and CCPA compliant, but that is a statement about its own service, not about the emails you send.

This is a neutral pointer, not legal advice. Read the ICO's business-to-business marketing guidance and its PECR guide before you send anything, and ask an adviser if you are unsure.

How we made this

AI-assisted, and fact-checked against Lusha's own pricing page, help centre and home page, and the ICO's pages, on 2 November 2026. We haven't hands-on tested Lusha: we haven't opened an account or revealed a contact, so we make no claim about its data accuracy or how easy it is to use. There are no customer reviews or statistics of ours here. The Lusha links are affiliate links, and a commission doesn't buy a verdict. See how we research a playbook.

How much is Lusha Pro in pounds? Pro is $69.90 a month, or $52.45 a month billed annually. At the 2 November 2026 rate that is about £52 or about £39. Your actual cost depends on your card's rate and any VAT.

How many credits does a phone number cost? Lusha's pricing page and help centre list 5 credits for a phone number and 1 credit for an email. Waterfall lookups on higher plans have separate rates.
