Affiliate disclosure
Updated 27 October 2026
TL;DR · Direct answer
AgentShed earns a commission if you use the Beehiiv affiliate link. That button says affiliate link and uses rel sponsored. Other tool buttons go to the vendor site. A commission does not buy a verdict, a test log, or a direct answer. Playbook pages still say they have no affiliate link. Questions go to hello@agentshed.io.
AgentShed is independent. Some outbound links may later earn a commission if you buy through them. That is an affiliate link. It is not a review, and it is not a promise that the product is the right one for the chore.
How a link is marked
A tool page can carry an affiliate URL in its frontmatter. When that field is set, the website button uses it, the link is rel="sponsored", and a short note beside the button says affiliate link. A normal link to a documentation page or a pricing page stays an ordinary link.
Playbook pages that list a commission link say so in the block labelled for links that may pay a commission, and each of those links uses rel="sponsored". The disclosure line on the playbook itself still says whether that page has one.
What a commission does not buy
A commission does not buy a verdict, a test log, a direct answer, or a comparison. The editorial rules say the same thing about sponsors. If a paid relationship changed one of those, the page would be wrong and should be corrected in public.
What is live today
The Beehiiv tool page is the affiliate URL that is filled in. When paid surfaces are on, its website button uses that link and the note beside the button says affiliate link. Other tool buttons go to the vendor's own site. Paid placements, when they are sold, are listed on the advertise page and labelled where they appear. Launch prices are not a claim about how many people will see them.

Questions
Does AgentShed earn a commission today?
Only from the Beehiiv tool page. Its website button uses the programme URL when paid surfaces are on. Every other tool leaves the field empty, so that button stays on the vendor site.
Will a commission change a recommendation?
No. Paying for a placement, or a future affiliate link, does not buy a verdict. The page on how we test states the same rule for sponsors.
How will I recognise an affiliate link?
The tool button will say affiliate link beside it and use rel sponsored. A normal link to a documentation page or a pricing page is not an affiliate link.
