For a reader in the UK, start with Grok Bot, xAI's always-on agent, in beta since 11 August 2026. Manus and Claude Cowork are the other two in this comparison, and both can be used in the UK. Dots, Muse, and Gemini Spark are left off because a personal UK account cannot use them. None of this was hands-on tested.
Grok Bot
Best for. A UK reader who wants an always-on agent with its own cloud computer.
Cost. Premium $30, Super $100, Ultra $200 a month. Plus $8 does not include it.
Setup. An eligible plan, then the desktop or mobile app described in the docs.
Limit. Tagging @bot on X is not available for UK-based accounts. Desk-researched only.
Manus
Best for. A UK reader who wants a general agent and can start on the UK site.
Cost. Team plan from US$20 a seat a month, or US$200 a year, for 4,000 credits.
Setup. Web, desktop, and mobile, according to the Manus 2.0 post.
Limit. No hands-on test. Confirm the plan in the signup before you pay.
Claude Cowork
Best for. Someone on a paid Claude plan who wants multi-step work in their files.
Cost. Included with paid Claude plans. Anthropic says listed prices exclude tax.
Setup. Desktop, web, and mobile on paid plans, per the Claude help centre.
Limit. Needs a paid plan. The UK is on Anthropic's supported-regions list.
Read Grok Bot first if you are in the UK and you want the always-on agent. Read Manus if you want the general agent on the UK site. Read Claude Cowork if you already pay Anthropic and the job is files and tools.
Dots, Muse, and Gemini Spark are real products. They are the wrong comparison for a personal account in Britain. The tracker holds their status and a signup for when a UK seat exists. Copilot Cowork is usable on the UK price page and is documented on its own.

Why are Dots, Muse, and Spark missing?
Personal ChatGPT Pro does not include Dots in the UK. Muse is reportedly not available in the UK. Gemini Spark excludes the UK. They stay on the tracker, with a note for when that changes.
Where does Copilot Cowork fit?
It is available on a UK price page, at £23.10 per user a month for Microsoft 365 Copilot, paid yearly and excluding VAT, with Cowork metered. It is a fourth product, so it has its own page rather than a column here.
